Since 2013 we have attended to thousand of clients from all over the world in the artsy district of Barranco, Lima, Perú.
Brian (The Netherlands)
Brian studied Thai massage 650+ hours in Thailand with different masters. He spent 5 weeks with the legendary Ajahn Pichest Boonthumme who is his main influence. Amongst his other teachers are the great blind master Ajahn Sinchai Sukparsert (therapeutic massage), Suriyan Punyafoo (therapeutic massage), Noam Tyroler (Thai acupressure), Bob Haddad (founder of Thai Healing Alliance International), Ralf Marzen (Mudita Thai Yoga / London), Kam Thye Chow (founder Lotus Palm/ Montreal), David Lutt (Osteothai), Jack Chaiya (foot reflexology), Dr Nooy & Supachay (Thai bone setting/chiropractic) and Ed Arnold (Anatomy trains and Thai Massage). His foundational training was at ITM (www.itmthaimassage.com) where he completed all levels and teacher training. Besides Thai Massage Brian studied Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage), Tok Sen (Thai wooden hammer technique) and marma therapy (Dharamsala, India).
Before engaging in Thai massage Brian studied Cognitive Artificial Intelligence (B.SC), Theatre & Film studies at the University of Utrecht and Modern Dance at Codarts (Rotterdam Dance Academy). He was part of the research team in the development of Uzazu focusing on how subtle energies in the body are mapped to large-scale social developments through a moving breath practice.
As a dancer/choreographer he had residencies in Japan and New York and worked as a freelance dancer and teacher a.o. for Retina Dance Company (Belgium/England). For his own works he received the audience prize at Szólóduó festival in Budapest for his solo in 2009 and the jury award for his duet in 2010. In 2011 he was invited as a guest mentor for the international dance residency program, Dance Omi (NY).
Furthermore he pursued his yogic training in India/Thailand where he completed a 9-month program, including a 3-month teacher training in traditional Hatha Yoga at Agama Yoga, after which he traveled back to India to start his teaching experience. More recently, Brian is pumping in the miles and is running frequent full marathons.
Sharon (Peru)
Sharon studied Clinical Psychology at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú -PUCP- (2009). In 2011 she co-founded Psicomunitaria, a Psychology center in Lima. Also, in 2011, 2013 and 2014 she taught and tutored at PUCP.
At the same time, she engaged in several dance courses, specializing in tango. She has been a tango teacher and constantly participated in several performances. In 2011, she opened and organized the tango salon “Milonga Brava”, in Lima.
Sharon learned traditional and therapeutic Thai massage, and SEN energy lines in ITM, in the city of Chiang Mai, Thailand (2012). In 2016 she returned to Thailand to study with Kam Thye Chow (founder Lotus Palm/ Montreal), David Lutt (Osteothai), Dr. Nooy & Supachay (Thai bone setting/chiropractic) and blind master Ajahn Sinchai Sukparsert (therapeutic massage).
In 2015, she also studied Marma points massage therapy in Dharamsala, India. In 2016, she learned Reiki, from Shanti, in Rishikesh, India.
She has pursued yoga programs in 2010 and 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 in Rishikesh, India; and at Agama Yoga (2012) in Koh Phangan, Thailand. In 2015 she completed a certification in Yoga Therapy at Yoga Vidya Dham (Nasik, India), and did an internship at their therapy center.
She has been studying vedic astrology since 2014, and has traveled multiple times to Rishikesh, India, to continue her studies with the renowned astrologer Prateek Mishrapuri. She offers online vedic astrology readings (you can read her more than 500 reviews on that page).
